About Dr Vavladelis

Metabolic Health & Spine Care

Dr Sophie Vavladelis has a special interest in metabolic health, weight management and preventative healthcare. She works with patients to address the underlying factors that contribute to excess weight, metabolic dysfunction and chronic disease, helping them achieve sustainable improvements in health and wellbeing.

At Sydney Spine Institute, Dr Vavladelis plays a unique role within the multidisciplinary team. Emerging evidence suggests that metabolic health can significantly influence musculoskeletal health, chronic pain, recovery from injury and outcomes following surgery. By addressing these factors early, patients may be better positioned to achieve successful treatment outcomes and maintain long-term function.

Her approach is practical, compassionate and focused on helping patients make realistic and sustainable changes that support both their immediate health goals and long-term wellbeing.
