Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Biara has been an accredited exercise physiologist since 2011 and has extensive experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, particularly spinal conditions and chronic pain. She has worked across metropolitan and remote healthcare settings, delivering exercise-based rehabilitation, chronic disease management programs, health education, and ergonomics services.

Biography

Biara's clinical approach is grounded in contemporary pain science and the biopsychosocial model of care. She combines exercise and activity management, pain education, behavioural change strategies, motivational interviewing, and lifestyle interventions to help patients improve function and confidence in managing their condition. 

Biara has undertaken extensive additional training in chronic pain management and is currently completing a Master of Research focused on pain science. She also has a particular interest in neurodiversity-affirming care and supporting individuals living with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), dysautonomia, and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). 

Her goal is to empower patients to develop sustainable self-management strategies that support long-term health, participation, and quality of life.
